As the popularity of this type of tattoo is increasing, the tattoo ink is becoming available at most local tattoo studio.

Black light tattoo ink may not be absorbed by the skin the same way conventional inks can. They may not blend the same predictable way as other inks. For this reason, people should only get a U.V. tattoo by an experienced tattoo artist with experience in black light tattoos.


There are many different colors of black light or UV reactive ink. For the titanium white color, in the absence of UV light, the tattoo can be completely transparent on light skin tones. Other colors are visible in any light but glow in black light!


UV ink contains phosphorous, possible carcinogens, and allergens, so there is a risk your body may reject the tattoo. Some people even claim that their once nearly clear UV tattoo has turned brown in a period of a few months.

Black light tattoos are now the new design. using the design of letters or words with a lot of people liked it. For example in the picture. they make a word using Black Light tattoo ink designed in his hand.

UV tattoos or blacklight tattoos are tattoos made with a special ink that is only visible under a blacklight. The tattoos can be completely invisible in normal light, although scarring from the tattoo machine in the application process may remain, and therefore still show. A UV tattoo becomes visible under blacklight, when it glows in colors ranging from white to purple, depending on the ink chosen. Colored ink is also available, where the ink is visible in normal light (as with a regular tattoo) but the ink will glow vividly under UV light.

Blacklight tattoos are created using white tattoo ink or a special kind of ink that only becomes visible under black light. This type of tattoo ink has been used in celebrity tattoos and is currently more costly than regular tattoo ink.


Tattoo art done with white ink or UV ink can be more painful, though, than those done with regular tattoo ink since thicker and more high-quality ink has to be used. Interestingly, though, no male celebrity was reported as getting or sporting a white ink tattoo.

A Star blacklight tattoo either comprises the entire tattoo or is sometimes used to accentuate a standard black ink design. blacklight tattoos that use UV Titanium white ink are visible under blacklight only. In regular lighting, the tattoo appears as a faint outline at best or sometimes completely invisible. Colored ink is available in 17 different colors, however, for those who either want the tattoo to be visible at all times or appreciate a little color in their designs. When held up to a blacklight, these tats will simply glow brighter.
